Debbie Meyer Snook

Deb joined the cornet section of PugetBrass in 2003 and currently serves as section leader. She served on the Board as Secretary from 2006 - 2022.  She earned Bachelor degrees in both Music and Music Education from the University of Washington, and her Master of Arts in Education degree from Antioch University Seattle.

 She taught band, jazz band, mariachi, choir, piano, and musical theater at Chief Sealth International High School in West Seattle from 1999-2011.  She now is a full-time mom in addition to teaching private piano lessons and volunteering within her community.  Deb also enjoys playing trumpet in the Seattle Women’s Jazz Orchestra (SWOJO).
