John currently teaches 1st and 2nd grade split for Fairview Christian school. He has taught all of the primary elementary grades intermittently throughout his career as a teacher (10 years). Also mixed in those 10 years he was a music specialist in both public and private schools. His principal instrument is the trumpet, but he has probably played more french horn over the years. But now, since authentic British-Style brass contains neither of those, he is playing the alto horn. In addition to this group, John plays from time to time for a variety of churches and other organizations. |
